I previously wrote that I had started a digital movie collection on Apple TV. Over the past 4 years and with limited time on my hands, I am currently subscribed to zero streaming services.
In more normal times, I would have be subscribed to atleast one streaming service however due to limited time for recreation activities and my growing collection of mostly movies, I am subscribed to zero.
My current movie collection is stands at 274 movies out of which there are 158 which I haven;t watched. The pace at which I am currently watching movies is slower than the movies I am purchasing. This is entirely because of way deals come on Apple TV, I use Cheapcharts and its extensive filters to not pay more than A$ 5 per movie and this year has been some great deals.
Now doing the math over the past 4 years, I have roughly spend the same amount of money and now I have an extensive collection of movies that I really want to watch.
I use letterboxd to maintain a watchlist and use the same as a wishlist on Cheapcharts to track price. Some months you spend nothing and some months you spend hundred dollars.
